Corner Building is a 1,350 m² residential apartment building, completed in 2022, on a narrow 7.5-meter-wide site in Mashhad, surrounded by predominantly classical façades. The project transforms the site's constraints and urban regulations into design opportunities.

The design responds to three key challenges: engaging with the classical urban context, organizing a tall and slender building mass, and reinterpreting the municipality's 45-degree chamfer regulation as a defining architectural feature. A central structural core organizes circulation while enhancing spatial quality through a naturally lit, fluid corridor. Continuous terraces and efficient spatial planning maximize daylight penetration into the apartments.

On the façade, the 45-degree chamfer becomes the project's primary design element. Repeated triangular planes reduce the visual slenderness of the building and create a dynamic identity. This geometric language extends into the interior and culminates in a triangular bench in the courtyard, reinforcing the project's themes of simplicity, pause, and transformation.
